Every expedition/field project allows for each individual to apply their professional skills and knowledge in a direct hands-on opportunity, often far from home.
The days can be extremely cold or brutally hot, often under severe conditions, but at the end of each day is a chance to regroup and unwind with your colleagues around the communal campfire, a timeless tradition. The gatherings are a collection of preparing and eating dinner, organizing notes from the day, renewing old friendships, discussing the direction of the ongoing work for the team or discipline, important finds generally, sometimes visualizing the field location's topography and populations of an earlier time and eventually, classic "campfire tales".
We have added some tales from our own and invite readers to submit their "campfire tales". Just give some background of your field work, where you were at and, of course, the tale.

Who are we?
InfoQuest is dedicated to increasing scientific knowledge and enhancing technological competence to enable young and old to apply the findings of modern science to their lives.
Our goal?
Our organization continues to be a source of information for paleontology and geology students. As new research information becomes available from worldwide sources we will add that to our site. Additionally, IQ will develop ways to support students in their own research whether in libraries, labs or the field.
